I'm running ssmtp (the default sendmail program, I think) on Gentoo. It works great for sending messages (like this one), but it doesn't seem to do too well for local mail delivery.
The only things that I use local mail delivery for are reading the results of cronjobs and for things like logwatch. Ideally, I'd like to set ~root/.forward to point to my user account and then let evolution read /var/spool/mail/myusername. Is this possible with ssmtp? If not, how do you all solve this problem? Thanks in advance, -Luke -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
