I'd like to do an installation of gentoo completely over the network, i.e.
without having to plug a monitor and keyboard at all.
I think all I'd need to do is to find some way of making it boot the LiveCD
with sshd started and a non-random root password instead of the current
standard behaviour. DHCP and hardware detection would handle the network
setup. From there I could log in remotely and procede with the installation.
So... how hard would it be for me to change the LiveCD to accomplish this aim?
Anyone wanna comment on my chances?
