I never tried to get it working with 2.4 as this is a newly acquired pcmcia hdd. I think that I have it all straightened out now. Time to start working on the radeon kernel drivers and getting dri to work in 2.6.0 it worked very well with 2.4.20-gamining *wondering what has happened*
