I have the exact same setup and dmesg is showing me: hda: 39070080 sectors (20003 MB) w/1768Kib Cache, CHS=38760/16/63, UDMA(100) and I am running 2.6.0-test9-mm2 sources. And so far everything on this C610 is functioning even ACPI.

The chipset is apparently a ICH3M (82801CAM) - is there any other driver that I should be using for this chipset? Kernel at the moment is gs-sources-2.4.23_pre8.
