I've been dealing with the below problem for about 5 days now.. I'm really
completely unsure as to what to do next.

At seemingly random points during normal computer usage, my usb completely
stops working. It happens sometimes after 10 minutes of usage, but sometimes
after hours of use. The only consistency that I can find is that it fails
while i'm actively using it.. I never come back to my idle computer to find
it disconnected.. and I always notice that it is disconnected because my usb
mouse freezes in my movement. The entire usb controller stops working.. My
intellimouse explorer optical light is off, and I can no longer connect to my
USB digicam. I think those are the only usb devices I have to test with.
The important section of my dmesg is pasted at the bottom of the email.

This problem did not happen with any of the 2.4 kernels.. I had used several
standard and patched 2.4 kernels. There have been no significant hardware or
software changes, other than the upgrade to a 2.6.0-test9. I'm currently
using 2.6.0-test9-mm4, but it also happens with 2.6.0-test9-mm2. I'm not
intimately familiar with kernel workings, but from a quick read through the
mm-series changelog, I can't see anything in it that would indicate possibly
causing this problem.

I've tried recompiling with usb, hid, uhci as modules instead of builtin..
still freezes.. and then when i rmmod then, lsmod output freezes after the
column headers. I fear that my only source for a solution will be to post a
kernel bug, so if that seems like what i should do right now, can anyone
advise me on that process.. what information should i supply? (i.e. how can
i best deliver debugging info)

here's some important dmesg:
