        This is probably unrelated but I tried to update OO.bin last night 
but received sandbox errors. OO was the fifth in a string of updates 
so I would guess that the problem is unique to OO.
        I ran the update using sudo. I have now logged on as root and did 
emerge --resume and am waiting to see what happens.
