I'd love to. I've found some really bad mirrors from mexico to germany.....
When I run the recommended, "mirrorselect -a -s4 -o" I get a null string for my GENTOO_MIRRORS.
If I run "mirrorselect -i", I get an error:
Found 15 mirrors: Error: Expected at least 7 tokens for --checklist, have 4. Use --help to list options.
If I run "mirrorselect -i -r", I do get an SYNC variable in the /etc/make.conf, but it doesn't update the GENTOO_MIRRORS.
Could you give me an example, so I can hand code a list.

My stage2 "emerge system" died because it couldn't resolve 'ftp.jedsoft.org' to download 'slang-1.4.9.tar.bz2'. I can't resolve it on my redhat system either. Not sure how to get around this?? Just call my grasshopper.
