Hello folks,
I just wanted to download
http://dev.gentoo.org/~pylon/vim/ftplugin/xml.vim with my Opera
7.23.
When I clicked to link above - X shutted completly down.
My installed software:
* xfree-4.3.0-r3
* nvidia-glx-1.0.4363
* nvidia-kernel-1.0.4363-r3
* opera-7.23
I had the same behaviour, that X is killed, with Opera 6.12, too. I
hoped, that issue is ending in smoke, when I update Opera. But,
unfortunately, not.
I can't use NVIDIA 4496, there is something broken with that
version. Why updateing, the installed version is working?
The last lines of the X error are attached. Most of the lines
(connection ... broken) were programs, that were running. The most
interesting are lines 4-19.
What can I do to solve this problem?
