From `man gkrellm2`:
OPTIONS
-g, --geometry +x+y
Makes gkrellm move to an (x,y) position on the screen
at startup. Standard X window geometry position (not
size) formats are parsed, ie +x+y -x+y +x-y -x-y.
Except, negative geometry positions are not recognized
(ie +-x--y ).
I believe he's referring to how gkrellm v1.x asks you where you want a particular "box", not the entire gkrellm window.
