I can't help you fix the problem but according to
/usr/src/linux/Documentation/devices.txt char-major-200 is the
following:

200 char Veritas VxVM configuration interface
            0 = /dev/vx/config            Configuration access node
            1 = /dev/vx/trace             Volume i/o trace access node
            2 = /dev/vx/iod               Volume i/o daemon access node
            3 = /dev/vx/info              Volume information access node
            4 = /dev/vx/task              Volume tasks access node
            5 = /dev/vx/taskmon           Volume tasks monitor daemon

Since Veritas volume manager has nothing to do with a VPN client, I
would need more information to proceed any further.

Can you give us more information such as which VPN client? and if there
are any other error messages.

Regards,
Paul
