[gentoo-user] monitor help

I recently acquired a Proview 570 (PRO-510) monitor but X doesn't seem to detect it 
correctly. I can't get it to do anything more than 640x480 attached to a ~1997 ATI Rage II 
card w/ 2MB Video RAM. I know it can do better than this, especially since it was 
manufactured in 1999. I've google'd and can't seem to find any HorizSync or VertRefresh 
values for it. Can anyone help me out?
