Well, now I've gotten it to print ok from linux as well, however the scanning with hpoj still has the same problem. The printing works after using setting up the printer as follows:
foomatic-configure -s cups -p HP-OfficeJet_D125 -c file:/dev/usb/lp0 -n HPPrinter -d hpijs writing to /dev/usb/lp0 and using hpijs driver. I'd still appreciate any hints on possible problems regarding the ptal-init setup problems with kernel null pointer reference... Thanks Jimmy -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
