I'm trying to play a DVD with Xine (Specifically, the extended edition of The
Two Towers, Region 4). The 'splash' screen animations show fine, but when it
comes time to play the menu animation I get the following error:
"The source can't be read. Maybe you don't have enough rights for this, or
source doesn't contain data. (Error reading from DVD)"
I'm not too sure what the problem is in this case? Could I be missing the
right plugin for DeCSS with Xine? Or could I just have something not set up
right?
There's a heap of plugins that claim to provide DVD and DVD menu support...
which one do I actually want?
I currently have installed xine-lib-1_beta12 and xine-ui-0.9.22.
Oh yeah, the DVD plays perfectly in mplayer, but I want it to work in Xine as
well for the menu support and so that I can see the Image galleries, which
mplayer doesn't handle.
