If you look 
in /usr/portage/distfiles/speedtouch*.tar.bz2/speedtouch*/doc-linux/doctor 
you'll be able to make speedtouch-doctor.sh.  I found this an excellent 
troubleshooter when I was using a Speedtouch frog.
