for the kde 2.3 beta2 part (i'm compiling it right now :). go to /usr/portage/kde-base/arts and issue emerge -pv arts-1.2.0_beta2.ebuild (of course, remove the -p to actually merge the package :) then in /usr/portage/kde-base/kdelibs emerge -pv kdelibs-3.2.0_beta2.ebuild then in /usr/portage/kde-base/kdebase emerge -pv kdebase-3.2.0_beta2.ebuild and you now have a workable kde 3.2 beta2. (on a p3/750 this 3 packages take more than 7 hours to compile). After this, I use to install kdeartwork (more themes), kdenetwork and kdepim (cause i use kmail which is included in kdepim) . kdeadmin doesn't seem to compile for now (errors after the configure part). -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/1wgOHMw8JJ+r9ucRAnK+AJ4vfGxf9XRunhyvCQJaE2Du/3kD2ACcDPiZ 56syQgkXfxWiflIauqDYGAw= =mM20 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
