When i installed gentoo on my Compaq Presario 2700 ea laptop, in kernel
compilation, i set to YES drm support for my Radeon Card.
In the official guide i read that, to enable DRI, i had to compile my kernel without DRM support, because this support would be provided by the package
VIDEO_CARDS="radeon" emerge xfree-drm
So i did it. Now direct rendering works well. On the other hand kde randomly crashes. Several types of crashes , i never had before of this recompiling, happens:
1)Completely exits from the X environment
2)Kbar (the bar with the system tray, taskbar, application buttons,ecc..) suddenly shuts down
I use kernel gentoo-sources 2.4.22-gentoo-r1
I will provide any further information on request.... please help!!!!!

Looking in the last XFree log ( the one from the complete crash) i've found this error:
Fatal server error: Caught signal 11. Server aborting
