Hi,

I have used Belkin 802.11b and Ciso 802.11b cards with linux and they work fine. My belkin 802.11g never worked.

Hi, i'm planning to implement a wireless LAN here at home. What i need is just 1 AP and 2 pcmcia cards.

I've been looking in the net (google, productor' site, .... ) for about 1 week to undestard a little bit more about gentoo linux supporting of 802.11g chipsets and Cards.

First of all, why is so difficult discovering wich chipset a particular wireless card has on?
On the productor' site there are no information about it (i've looked in 3com, netgeark, dlink ....) !!! it's crazy!

So, after my searches i am interested in 3com OfficeConnect products, in particular :

3com OfficeConnect 11g AP 3CRWE454G72
3com OfficeConnect 11g pc card 3CRWE154G72

Does anyone own these ? what about support and performance?
Any suggest for alternatives?

what about netgear 108 Mbps/802.11g <http://www.netgear.com/products/wireless/108Mbps.asp?view=> - model WG302 AP ??

thanks . bye
