Hi all, In an attempt to get a nice nptl enabled system I've decided to trim back all the software I don't use, especially large packages like kde, openoffice etc...
I've come to the conclusion that if I clean my worldfile of such things, tidying as I go then depclean should clean them out. (final plan is an emerge -e world to recompile the remaining) My question is why are things like dev-python/wxPython and dev-libs/dbh in the world file? Surely if I remove these they will remain on my system if they are dependencies and be removed by depclean if not? Oh and in case anyone cringes, I took a full backup beforehand... ;-) -- Tom Wesley
