Yes, it all worked and I transfered my mail over. I am now happily using evolution, which seems to work out better for me as a former M$ user...
I do have one new problem though: I am trying to get my Palm to sync with Evolution. I have the gnome-pilot installed, and Ive got everything to sync however I cant figure out how to set up conduits between the palm and evolution. there isnt an 'add new' button like the help file seems to imply.
