Since the advent of KDE-2, konqueror has obdurately refused to obey my
setting sort order to "Case-sensitive". Now at last I can open konqui
in /etc and not have to scroll to get X11. Good news indeed!

Yes, I've emerged KDE-3.2.0_beta2. It was very easy. I just said
'ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" emerge kde', sat back and waited. I did have
to resume when kdeadmin failed but that was the only problem.

On the whole I'm impressed. All my 3.1.4 settings were imported without
my having to do anything and most of them work. A few "funnies"
follow.

Kontakt reminds me that my birthday is at Christmas and I'll be
4394967262 years old. (Dates previously stored as 19xx are now 20xx.)

The menu system has changed a bit - most of my personal settings still
work but some needed tweaking.

Unfortunately I can't use mosfet-liquid window decorations now.

Sound server settings are best left alone or done by editing
~/.kde3.2/share/config/kcmartsrc by hand. If I make any changes to
them using the GUI I get repeating instances of dr. konqui.

For a beta2 this is usable and impressive. Congratulations to
[EMAIL PROTECTED] for making this offering so easy for us.
