Anyway - there's help on the forums, but here's how I got past it. (Keep in mind this is all from memory, which is poor at best..) 1. Select the noscsi option on boot 2. If your cdrom is on the scsi chain, the system won't be able to mount it, and you'll get dumped to a prompt. 3. Manually insert the module :: insmod aic7xxx.o (not sure, but I think I had to give the full fs path the the module 4. Once the module is installed, type exit to return to the boot process.
