Please post the contents of your configuration, if the >following suggestion doesn't help This is how it is mentioned in the docs, but I had the same problem as the original poster and it only got away when I renmaed grub.conf to menu.lst. Actually I linked it to grub.conf but then I had a menu. The only thing not working are the colors. I had color yellow/blue white/blue in my configuration. The colors were right, but the selcted entry wasn't inverted so ther was no bar which looked quite ugly and was confusing. Then I read that the second parameter is optional and if not present it will invert the first two colors. With the above colors I would have expected to have a yellow bar with a blue background. Instead I got blue text with a blinking brown bar. Then I added blue/white as the second argument and now I have a balck and white screen but with properly inverted color for the selected entry. It seems the color doesn't really work. -- Gerhard Gruber Maintainer of SoftICE for Linux - http://sourceforge.net/projects/pice Fast application launcher - http://sourceforge.net/projects/launchmenu -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
