Hi, I built glibc as a .tbz2 using ebuild glibc-2.3.2-r3 package. This created a .tbz2 file as expected. When I try to emerge that on a slower system this was built for I get a: krupps root # emerge -u /glibc-2.3.2-r3.tbz2 Calculating dependencies ...done! >>> emerge (1 of 1) sys-libs/glibc-2.3.2-r3 to / !!! CATEGORY info missing from info chunk, aborting...
