Hi all,
I have got the printer part to work by changing the device path in cups
from /dev/usblpo to /dev/usb/lpo.
I am having problems with the scanner, it works under user root and scanimage
-L reports:
[epson] Extended status flag request failed
device `epson:libusb:002:005' is a Epson Unknown model flatbed scanner
As a normal user it reports no scanners were identified. I am sure this is a
permissions issue but I cannot find and devices to change. In /dev/usb I
only have one device and that is lpo.
I am at the limit of my knowledge, can anybody help??
kind regards
Paul
