Hi, all, I am experiencing a character encoding difficulty after I changed to Gentoo from debian. There is a test page (http://arbago.com/ttt.html), and its page info in Netscape has "Encoding x-windows-949", but this must be "EUC-KR". I can not find a way how my page gets this abnormal encoding information from.
In my first thought, there was a default NLS in the Kernel - Files System - NLS. So changed it from cp949 to iso8859-1. But this difficulty still remains. Could you give me a hint? -- YOON, Joo-Yung Korea -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
