# ld.so.conf autogenerated by env-update; make all changes to # contents of /etc/env.d directory so I went to /etc/env.d but wasn't how safe it was to edit these files. Anyway I read the ENV.d documentation on the Gentoo website. It appears that it is safe to edit these files.
