i always just look in /usr/portage/profiles/packages.mask it has a descent list of why *some* packages are currently masked. it'd be nice though if i could find a centralised collection of this stuff somewhere. maybe something like: emerge --search --reason-why-masked <query> ? -- we will have to repent in this generation not merely for the hateful words and actions of the bad people but for the appalling silence of the good people. - martin luther king jr. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
