>From what I've heard, which may be inaccurate... eagle (rsync1.us, the master rsync server) fell over due to hardware problems. Unfortunately, due to really unlucky timing it seems all the second level mirrors managed to sync an empty tree. To avoid hosing local rsync trees, the DNS records were updated to point to localhost. Things *should* be back to normal now.
