I know this does not effect you, but for anyone else following the thread I did NOT install qmail on my dial-up box is that it 'splits' emails to multiple recipients *before* they leave your box. This was annoying for me because I often send a newsletter to about 70 addresses and it takes ages to upload it 70 times !! (it is a club newsletter, not SPAM !!) I later found that the author of qmail had very strong opinions that this was the way a MTA should work, but it was a shame I did not know *before* I installed and configured it !!
