Thanks.

Here is another problem

bash-2.05b# MozillaFirebird
/usr/lib/MozillaFirebird/mozilla-xremote-client: error while loading shared libraries:
libplds4.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
/usr/lib/MozillaFirebird/mozilla-xremote-client: error while loading shared libraries:
libplds4.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Unknown error 127 from mozilla-xremote-client

I do have the shared objects in /usr/lib/MozillaFirebird/libplds4.so

But my /etc/ld.so.conf reads

# ld.so.conf autogenerated by env-update; make all changes to
# contents of /etc/env.d directory
/usr/local/lib
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.2.3
/usr/lib/opengl/nvidia/lib
/usr/X11R6/lib

even after I do env-update it is still the same.

If I include /usr/lib/MozillaFirebird to /etc/ld.so.conf
and do ldconfig, then MozillaFirebird works.

How can I modify /etc/env.d to get the correct /etc/ld.so.conf
once I run env-update?

Thanks.
