I can third it. I run completely "~86" on my desktop and usually fare very well. I am running the latest nvidia drivers and the 2.6.2-rc3 with no problems. I can play America's Army for hours on end with no problems. Rocks for development work as well. The new kernel is MUCH more responsive than the 2.4 series for me. I have tried a few times to mix and match between stable and unstable and it usually causes more problems than it is worth.
