Maybe that is the reason. I did bootstrap and emerge system and emerge
vanilla-sources and everything went fine. I also could configure my kernel,
but I haven't tried it yet, as I'm not sure about the kernelsettings. My
virtual machines runs with virtual disks 4GB with 128 MB RAM and 128
Swapspace. First I forgot to turn on swapping and with this my gcc
compiliation failed. Afterwards it went fine.
