Hello List, Following Ciaran's advice:
Naah, just use sys-kernel/sparc-dev-sources-2.6.2_rc2 (yes, it should work fine on x86 too). Should be fixed in there... I get the following error: >>> Unpacking linux-2.6.2-rc2.tar.bz2 to /var/tmp/portage/sparc-dev-sources-2.6.2_rc2/work >>> Unpacking patches-2.6.2-rc2-sparc.tar.bz2 to /var/tmp/portage/sparc-dev-sources-2.6.2_rc2/work Current kernel version is 2.6.2 Scanning patch directory: '.' Checking 20_no-sparc32-aout (plain text format)... patch: **** Can't create file /var/tmp/portage/sparc-dev-sources-2.6.2_rc2/temp/ppiFkozi : No such file or directory cat: write error: Broken pipe can't be applied. Please modify the patch. !!! ERROR: sys-kernel/sparc-dev-sources-2.6.2_rc2 failed. !!! Function kernel_src_unpack, Line 108, Exitcode 1 !!! Addpatches failed, bad KERNEL_EXCLUDE? Can anyone advise me on how to resolve this problem, please.
