I don't recall any problems using the 2.6-test kernels. However, with 2.6.1/2 my sound is terrible. I get whining, crackling periodicly.
I've tried add 'apm=idle-threshold=100' to my grub line, as well as disabling APM/CPU_IDLE. Neither seemed to help... anyone else have any ideas/suggestions? Card: VIA 8235 Chip: Realtek ALC650 rev 3 Kurt -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list
