Hi all,
My shiny new gentoo system locked up for some unknown reason today while
doing a emerge system, and there was no response so I had to press the
reset button :(
After booting and fscking the harddisk, i found that when i type
emerge -up system
These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

!!! Problem in app-editors/vi dependencies.

In desperation I tried emerge regen but it didnt have any effect :(
What shall I do, do i need to reinstall gentoo :(
