when i try to emerge openoffice, i get: ################ # emerge -p openoffice
These are the packages that I would merge, in order:
Calculating dependencies ...done! [blocks B ] app-arch/star (from pkg app-office/openoffice-1.1.0-r2) [ebuild N ] app-shells/tcsh-6.12-r3 [ebuild N ] app-office/openoffice-1.1.0-r2 #################
According to the Changelog in /usr/portage/app-office/openoffice the blocking problem should be solved in 1.1.0-r3 and it also mentions 1.1.1b.
Why does emerge keep talking about 1.1.0-r2? I did an "emerge sync" today!
Also, as i know that compiling openoffice takes a looooong time, how can i install it from binary packages?
