just read this last night on the gentoo FAQs.... gives the instructions how
to turn the num lock on for kde and gnome I believe

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to do this? It used to happen automatically under
mandrake (I think) and I haven't been bother to check how to do it... I
wouldn't know where to start.
