A number of people have reported problems with i810 and xorg-6.8.x IIRC, the solution was to downgrade to version 6.7.0. I use a computer at work that has this chipset, and while it works with some of the time, it often crashes and hangs with xorg-6.8.x. For me, it always crashes when DRI is enabled.
