Hi,
   Did this yesterday and then ran it under ndiswrapper with 8K
stacks. Ended up with the same issue. I can see the router, for a
while,  but then after a few minutes the whole system hangs. Mouse
still works. Keyboard does not. Only way out is to power cycle.

   If no one reading this list has it working on Gentoo then I may try
FC3 and see if the hardware is recognized during the installation.
(Wishful thinking...)  In searching around yesterday I ran into a
distro I hadn't heard of called Mepis that advertizes it's ability to
configure wireless NICs on it's Live CD. Possibly I'll try that if I
can find a download site faster than molasses...

   Still open to other ideas. I did burn a 2004.3 minimal CD last
evening in case I go that way.
