ok, first, sorry for the generalization. so, moving to a smaller subset ;-): at
least on my sytem these packages seem to be needed:
portage # qpkg -nc -q sys-apps/acl
sys-apps/acl-2.2.27 *
DEPENDED ON BY:
coreutils-5.2.1-r2
similar for attr.
hmm, being quite sure that I haven't changed use flags after the emerge (the
depclean was the next command) ...
