Calculating dependencies ...done! [ebuild R ] media-libs/gst-plugins-0.8.7 It tries to reemerge the same. Perhaps some other package depends on 0.8.5 and portage tries to satisfy the dependency. Strange it did not complain during the update. If this is the case , how do I find the package that needs 0.8.5 ?
