Except that the help strongly implies that the bttv module appears in the config regardless, and after you have chosen it, you then have to choose the IC2 stuff-- but that is not the case. If you don't know to choose the IC2 stuff first, then the module doesn't appear.
Which is a bit too circular to be very helpful (since you can't read the module help that tells you to choose I2C if the module doesn't appear because you haven't chosen IC2).
But yes, had I been more alert, I could have made a WAG based on what Peter said :-) .
