That's rather hard to do without another working computer. Either way, I can at least do the Alt-SysRq-K-S-U-B thing.

I often cannot use the keyboard in any other way than the Alt-SysRq. Either way, I want to know how to fix it, and not just sixty other ways to kill X. Currently, there is no real reason to be talking about this, as I have not tried Douglas's most recent suggestions.
