Thank you for the reply. I am quite new to gentoo and am attempting to
install over the network to the NetraX1. ifconfig shows only lo. My main
question is : once the gentoo tftp image is "installed" and I am at the
command line, what are the procedures to get a stage installation going? Is
using the internet for access to a mirror the expected method of installing?
This is fine, but I still do not have a network card configured.
I do not quite understand the "Hrm, an x1 is sunhme" , ifconfig and dmesg do
not show a network card being found. If there is a network device built into
the image, I do not know how to configure it.
Any help will be appreciated. I have been attempting this for several days
now. :0(
Thanks
Larry
