I need to emerge lib-compat, but emerge -p shows this

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild N ] media-libs/fontconfig-2.2.3
[ebuild N ] x11-misc/ttmkfdir-3.0.9-r2
[ebuild N ] x11-base/opengl-update-2.0_pre4-r1
[ebuild N ] x11-base/xorg-x11-6.8.1.902
[ebuild N ] app-arch/rpm2targz-9.0-r2
[ebuild N ] sys-apps/utempter-0.5.5.5-r1
[ebuild N ] x11-terms/xterm-199
[ebuild N ] media-libs/audiofile-0.2.6-r1
[ebuild N ] dev-lang/nasm-0.98.38-r1
[ebuild N ] media-libs/libsdl-1.2.8-r1
[ebuild N ] sys-libs/lib-compat-1.4

My use vars are:

USE="-cups -qt -X -gtk -kde -arts -gnome -alsa java perl python perlsuid
apache2
mysql fastcgi jpeg mpeg png nls session gd dba sqlite xml xml2 imap crypt
bzlib
zlib kerberos krb4 gif imlib innodb readline mime ncurses pcre sqlite x86"

Why would it want X or audiofile?

TIA
