I have the RSS feed from packages.gentoo.org running in Kticker, so that
takes care of seeing what's new. It all depends on what you want. I just
wanted to be able to see what needed upgrading on several machines, so
mailing the output of emerge -uD world suits me best. I can understand
that others would rather see the output from esync.
