Yeah, that's funny. It doesn't seem like your mirror site carries the snapshots at all. If you're behind a corporate firewall and really _need_ emerge-webrsync, try to fiddle arround with the MIRRORS= line of /etc/make.conf. FWIW, http://gentoo.osuosl.org/ usually carries the latest snapshots. You can confirm it by opening http://gentoo.osuosl.org/snapshots/ . It's also possible to download the snapshot manually, but the explanation is a little more than I care to dig up right now.
