Gnucash is a GTK1/GNOME1 application, so it needs the older versions of
gnome-vfs etc. Yes, it is maintained, with 1.8.11 being released a week
ago, although 1.8.10 is still the latest in portage. Renaming the 1.8.10
ebuild to install the latest is reported to work, it's still compiling
here.
