Hello, I'm using 'emerge -e' to rebuild all of my 537 packages with new make.conf settings. (-march=i686 instead of -march=pentium3)
Unfortunately, since this is such a long emerge operation, there is a huge possibility for interruptions. Moore's Law is a way of life for me. I had a power failure last night on this machine after already compiling 147 packages. Is there any way I can trick portage into starting on package # 147 in a 537 package `emerge -e world` operation? Thanks! -- Jesse Guardiani, Systems Administrator WingNET Internet Services, P.O.
