Hi,

I have the following queries with XEmacs and Tex files:

1. When I open a Tex file in XEmacs I am presented with the
fundamental mode. I then have to change the mode to Tex mode. What do
I add to my init.el to make this happen by default?

2. When I open (.C, .CC, .s, .tex) a file in XEmacs I am not presented
with syntax highlighting. I need to hit M-x-font-lock-mode everytime.
How do I change this behavior?

3. When I edit C++ files, I do not get any syntax highlighting for
containers (list, vector, string) etc. Is there any package out there
in portage that does this?

Thanks,

Hareesh
